Shop Team Members take care of guests and help to keep the Shop clean and organized. They make menu items, use the register and help clean the Shop. Some Team Members learn to make waffle cones and/or ice cream cakes. We do our very best to be supremely helpful and friendly with every guest. The Kitchen Team makes ice creams, sauces and baked items. We have the highest standards for cleanliness and sanitation, and every Team Member spends time helping to keep the Kitchen clean. A background in food service is not required; every Team Member is trained to follow precise recipes and procedures for cleaning and sanitation. Other primary requirements and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a positive, helpful attitude and working with a sense of cooperation and camaraderie with your fellow Team Members.

• Working with hustle, speed and efficiency.

• Staying focused and on task throughout your shift.

• Motivated to learn new skills and assist other Team Members when needed.

• Following proper food handling and safety standards.

• Cleaning, sanitizing, assisting in ice cream prep, ice cream making and/or baking.

• Preparing sauces, toppings, baked goods and flavor ingredients for ice creams.

• Learn techniques and procedures on how to prep workstations, follow precise recipes and cleaning procedures for ice cream making.

• Packing and labeling pints for distribution.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., making ice cream is very physical work.

We use 16ft. freezer trucks to transport our ice cream. A Commercial Driver’s License is not required. To be considered, you must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record over the past 3 years. Delivery Truck Drivers clock in by 6 am and work until they’re finished with that day’s route. Typically, a day is between 7 and 10 hours long. Loading and delivering ice cream is a very physical job. Other primary requirements and responsibilities include:

• A constant focus on safety – notably, following all driving laws and not talking or texting on your phone while driving.

• Comfortable going in and out of walk-in freezers throughout the day

• Maintaining a positive, helpful attitude and working with a sense of cooperation and camaraderie with your fellow Team Members.

• Demonstrating flexibility every shift to help complete unexpected work that comes up over the course of the day.

• Demonstrating a friendly and helpful attitude as you come into contact with people throughout your day.

• Working with hustle, speed and efficiency.

• Accurately loading and delivering buckets of ice cream, pints of ice cream and other ingredients and supplies at stops throughout your day.

• Generating invoices at restaurants and grocery stores.

• Stocking pints in freezers at grocery stores.
